Post 77 – My Affiliate Marketing Blog
Have been checking on the performance of my FB ads just a couple of times a day.
Usually first thing in the morning and late in the day just to see how everything were performing.
Shut off the original first free ad as view rate was dropping off. Total reach of 14.5k for £46 not bad although total engagemnet was not that great but again people have got to get to know me. The rest of the series is still running.
Up to the moment another 10 videos with possible another few to be tagged onto the end as I get them done.
With the previous problems unsure when things were going to change over to a new ad. If it would just follow the preceding ones or go out as I set it up.
Had my weekly VIP call with Dean and explained what I had done with changing out the FB ads because of the previous setup problem and also explained there seemed to another glitch with their system as some, after the new setup had gone into showing together instead of showing individually some days apart. I would just have to keep an eye on everything just to make sure the next ad was displayed when it was due.
He was quite happy with my progress and also said it was just a matter of watching the performance of everything. As per normal he mentioned just to give him a call it I needed any further help before next weeks call.
The FB ad sequence finally changed over as I had set it up to do, which was good as didn’t want to go and change things out again. Now waiting on the 5 video to show to my audience which should happen at the end of this day.
Had a very early morning today 3 am local time to catch the second live broadcast of Quick Start Challenge. Very helpful and reminders of what needs to be done for our business’s.
My challenge for this week I have to write a blog post on the reasons I am into the business. Not a big deal as already have something similar for About Me on the front page of the blog.
Which will be the next post in line.

I started this blog one year ago after being part of Dean Holland’s Quick Start Challenge last year 2017.
I joined then to further my education in Affiliate Marketing to push my own business on.
I was a bit behind with everything last year as I couldn’t watch the coaching classes live and had to try and keep up with following the recording of each class.
Without much success I must admit. But I got through them eventually.
Sometime after the course finished I was invited to further advance myself within Deans Internet Profits Company and become a Certified Partner which I did.
I was already part of the Internet Profits setup after joining some months previously so the private invitation to join was easy.
That opened up my world to a lot of free video trainings within the members area. Live webinars for support and tech stuff also joining the private Facebook group and lots more.
So, one year on I have re-joined this year’s Quick Start Challenge for the grand sum of $ 14.95, what a bargin.
I joined again this year to see what’s new and what else I can pick up along the way as you can never get enough training to keep your business on track as things keep changing within the industry.
Once again due to work commitment’s like last year and time difference of where I am in the world at present I missed the first live session.
I was all set up for what I thought was the time at my location 23.00 but then found out I was four hours too early. DOH!
The coaching was really starting at 03.00am my time.
This caused a problem as I usually get up at 05.00am for work and as I hadn’t sleep beforehand, was a bit whacked anyway, plus I had a very long day ahead of me so had to give it a miss.
I have watched the first recording but so far not seen the Q&A session.
So once again playing catch up but at least I still have this blog which I have kept going so that’s a big start.
For the second Quick Start Challenge training I intend to be there live so will catch an early night and get up that little bit earlier than normal.
That’s the plan anyway.

My blog is just over 1-year-old and I started it when I joined the 2017 “Quick Start Challenge” run by Dean Holland and Craig Crawford.
I have joined again this years “Quick Start Challenge” which runs over 5 weeks, to get some more information. But more about that in the next post.
Had my weekly call with Dean on the VIP Training and let him see what I had done over the last week. Also mentioned the problems I had setting up the Ads due to some glitches in FB. He told me they often have them so just to keep an eye out on the process.
He saw for himself that some had run and I told him I was waiting on it changing over to No 4 as that was the first one I had problems with. I was also expecting that I should have changed over by now but will keep an eye on it the next day and if not will redo the series from 3 onwards.
Dean was happy with that and would see next week how things were progressing.
I waited another day and it still hadn’t changed over so decided I needed to remove all after 2 and set them up again.
I had also noticed that there was not much engagement to No 3 video which was my first animation leading into a short 3 video series on some training.
So decided to remove the 3 further videos as if there is little engagement on the first in the short series that wouldn’t be any in the next few. This I did and can always rerun them at a later date.
So set up just 6 this time in the series to see how they ran and with everything going ok will ad in the rest later.
This time had no set up problems. But for some reason 2 videos went out for show at the same time.
Rechecked my setup and everything there was good guess it was just FB again.
So that kind of puts some ahead and on No3 at the moment wondering when it will show No4.
Which should not be for another couple of days.
But who knows it’s in the lap of the gods I guess.

Caught up with Dean again this week and he was glad to hear from me after being some time from the last call.
He was also happy that I had not completely abandoned my own business as I told him I had been working on some videos over the last few weeks and hopefully in the next few days I would get my ads campaign set up in FB and start it running.
So he’s looking forward to the progress report the following week.
Had to go back and re-watch some videos from the “Kickstart Coaching” session I did with Dean, as these video recordings are still all in my members area within the partners section of “Internet Profits Suite”. To remind myself on how to set up the ads to run in a series showing to my audiences a couple of days apart.
It is a little bit complicated to start with, but once you have set up a couple the rest is just plain sailing. Or so I thought.
The first 3 set up fine then there seemed to be a bit of a problem with some glitches within FB that was giving me problems. Which I got round eventually.
I set everything up but was not quite sure if everything was going to run as it should with the setup problems. Only time would tell.
My initial plan was to set up 15 videos all on slightly different topics relating to Affiliate Marketing and giving away some free ebooks from me that were gathering dust on my hard drive that should be of good value to other people from a learning prospective within Affiliate Marketing.
But nothing as good or greater value than Deans free book “Affiliate Marketers Playbook”
So when I saw there was the possibility of problems I just set up 9 to begin with as the glitches were still bugging me. Then I will set up the rest once I see everything is running ok.
So started the ball rolling with the ads and keeping an eye on their progress for any sign of problems.
The first two have run through ok just waiting on the third one to run.
If there are any problems I would expect them to happen when the forth video should show.
I also tweeked the headline picture on the front of my blog with the help of some sofware. Make it look better.

Well didn’t succeed getting in touch with Dean this week either.
First week back at work and a bit crazy. Sometimes wonder if it’s worth taking time off as everything just piles up when you are gone and have to sort it out when you get back.
But a break is a great rest even if I was busy. But it was doing something else and being outside in the fresh air every day makes it great and got so much done. Plus being my own boss helps also.
I did managed to get a few things done in my own business this week as sneaked in a bit of time to get on with some more videos.
Definitely get with Dean again next week let him know where I am in my business.
I also managed a bit of work in my blog here as changed out the headline picture
