There is and always will be a demand for push button get rich shiny object style products.
By their very nature, at a certain level of desire and understanding, a large majority of those seeking affiliate marketing success believe there is a way to get rich online with little to no work and boy does that excite their greed glands!
Money… with no work… and little time invested… the thought is Jackpot. They want it and they want it bad!
Problem is…It just doesn’t exist in the real world.

Post 105 – My Affiliate Marketing Blog
Well I am back again after another break of some weeks from my blog here.
I had some time out from my job and had a working holiday doing lots of badly needed work around my house so was pretty busy. Although I did manage to keep up with and maintain my email lists and my Pinterest account. Have to keep things going can’t let everything slip like I have done times in the past.
I had also been keeping in touch with the “Internet Profits” Facebook Group as I was awaiting some great information the completion of the final draught and printing of Dean Hollands new book “The Iceberg Effect” which happened a couple of weeks back.
I have been eagerly awaiting this and now have my signed advance copy before it goes on public release. It just arrived yesterday so looking forward to reading it. What also makes it so great Russell Brunson has endorsed it and written the forward.
I also got the audio version so will perhaps listen to that first then read the book later at my leisure.

Post 104 – My Affiliate Marketing Blog
Well it’s been a few weeks again since I last posted in my blog here and a lot has happened in that time.
Firstly around 3 -4 weeks ago I got my Pinterest account suspended then shut down completely. Even after me appealing. I am still not really sure why it happened, they don’t tell a lot just I did something against their rules? This is not uncommon as it happens in all of the Social Media platforms as many others before me have found out.
All I was doing at the time was following people and their pin boards, which is a big part of Pinterest. The reason I was following this particular people was, I had joined a private group and part of that is to follow all others inside the group. I had only followed about 10 when everything just froze up. I could still access my account but not do anything. At first, I thought there was some kind of glitch on their side. It wasn’t until I got an email sometime later that I found out my account was suspended.
So, to say I was a pissed and down was an understatement. Almost 3 months of work setting things up and getting it just getting it ticking over nicely and bang…gone.
After a couple of days reflection, I decided to go again with Pinterest as I really like this advertising platform and think it will be great for my business. So, I opened up a new account and got back to work setting things up again like before but being a bit more cautious.
Again, it’s a lot of work but I kind of enjoy it, except for having to reset thing up again as before, but new advertising pins, I compose and introduce is very gratifying as I have developed them myself and not outsourced. Which was one good thing as I still had copies of all the original images to use so that has saved quite a bit of time. I am not yet back to where I was previously but getting there.
I have also branched out into some other affiliate products as I thought I need to diversify a bit not have all my eggs in one basket and there is plenty to choose from. So, I have gone for the Home and Garden niche and have a couple of things set up on a different web site. More on that later.
I am also eagerly awaiting my advanced FREE copy of Dean Holland’s new book “The Iceberg Effect” which I should receive shortly and I am sure it will be great reading and full of information on Affiliat Marketing. Then, once the book is fully available, I will proceed with the promoting of it, within my own Co-Branded Funnel that is being set up for me inside Internet Profits.
So, plenty to keep me going in my business. But the problem can be, finding the time to get things done with the day job getting in the way HA! HA

Post 103 – My Affiliate Marketing Blog
Well it’s been a bit of time again since my last post.
That’s not counting the previous one “A Letter From Dean”. I hope you read it and must say you will not find anything better to get your online business up and running and keep it sustainable for the future.
With all the free info, tools and more you get on the inside. Beats the three clicks of a mouse shiny junk objects hands down and unlike most of them it works as long as you do.

OK onto other things, I have been very busy continuing to set up my Pinterest space and adding more pins, up to 61 now. And that’s a lot of work creating these. Two of which are short videos of around 30 seconds running time each.
I am using a designing and publishing tool called Canva for the pins which is very good. It’s free so that’s a bonus but you can also upgrade to a Pro level that gives you more options and I believe you get it free for the first 30 days.
On saying that I find the free version just great for my needs at this moment and probably into the future. But then never say never.
There are other software programs out there that can be use like TypeSlab, Buffer also Microsoft Word and Power Point.
Obviously, these pins I have been setting up have to point somewhere, so they are for some FREE great informational eBooks and some FREE online training’s.
