Post 81 – My Affiliate Marketing Blog

Another week of action.

Got my VIP call this week with Dean and just went through what I had set up in the FB ad campaign.

He had a look at the campaign by sharing my screen, great thing that so he can see for himself how things are running.

He made a couple of recommendations mainly one to spit test one of my free videos with a different audience to see if it might improve the viewing figures.

Apart from that everything is great.

So I took the advice and implemented it and there was a big change in views in just 24 hours so shut down the other ad as not doing enough to warrant the cost.

Again missed the Quick Start Challenge live and didn’t get my challenge done from last week so will have to do a bit of catchup. Have watched the re-run recording in the members area.

Viewing figures have certainly gone up with the new FB Ad running.

Did some more videos for more ads and added 2 more in to the sequence.

Still have to do my challenge yet for the QSC. Time passes so quickly with so much going on.

This week I missed my VIP call with Dean due to not receiving the email with the special link to log into the call.

It seems I was not the only one something in the system had a hick-up.

I got in touch with him later and explained the situation but it was no big deal from me as again had nothing much to report due to not having started up a new ads champaign in FB.

I also shut down my existing campaign as it seemed to be running out of steam.

I also missed this weeks live Quick Start Challenge broadcast. Even if I hadn’t I would not have been able to watch most of it as it was nearly 3 hours long. WOH! great stuff.

I have watched the recording and the part I would have been able to watch live was just going over some things I already know. But there was some good stuff in the part I would have missed anyway so got some good information from that. Thanks to the recording of the live session.

On my own side I have moved forward a bit this week.

I got some more of my videos done.

Had another look at my optin and bridge pages and did some more work on them so now happier with that side they don’t look so plain as they did previously.

I designed my own company logo that I didn’t have before and inserted that into my capture optin and bridge pages.

Also had a look through my autoresponder email series checked the links and edited some of them.

I have also set up a new FB Ad campaign and started running the ads.

I will also plan to get some more videos done and add then into the series as at the moment I have enough for 12 days so gives me a bit of time.

So a bit busier and more productive on the business this week.

Got my new optin page and bridge page built for the Quick Start Challenge and submitted.

Unfortunately didn’t get any new videos done for my FB ad series.

The adds I am running at the moment there seem to be some glitches again in their system

Not a very good start to the week either as didn’t manage to keep my appointed time with Dean for the VIP call as work got in the way.

Not that I had much to report anyway and hadn’t got anything done as planned from the previous week.

Didn’t even manage to catch this weeks live QSC but did watch the replay.

This weeks challenge was for setting up the autoresponder to connect with my optin pages.

At least I have all that already done.

But then having a look at my email series I think I need to audit them and change a few things out.

Not really a good week for my own business so will be playing a bit of catchup again.

My Facebook ads are still ticking away and seemed to be introducing the new videos to my audience as they should be but I am still keeping a check twice daily.

Had my weekly VIP call with Dean  and he suggested to start another campaign with another free video. With perhaps starting pushing the AMP book a bit earlier to see if that makes any difference to the video views and perhaps optins.

So my plan is to get some more videos done and get started the new campaign before next week.

Unfortunately didn’t make the live viewing of the Quick Start Challenge webinar due to early hour of the morning for me viewing. But caught the replay of the recording.

This weeks challenge is to set up a optin page and bridge page with connections to my autoresponder and to make sure they work.

That is quite easy for me as have some already set up. But have decided to make up a new set just to make some changes which might also just help with getting optins.

Onwards and upwards.

So far haven’t managed to get any new videos done yet and time is moving on.

Post 78 – My Affiliate Marketing Blog

Here is my second blog post for the Quick Start Challenge 2018.

Why I got into Affiliate Marketing

This is a bit similar to the page I have written About Me on the front of this blog. So here we go but too cut a long story short.

I got into Affiliate Marketing looking to make a bit of extra money as retirement was creeping up fast.

I had made some bad investments that sucked away most of my savings. So decided to have a look around to see what I could find to rebuild a bit of a kitty back up and maybe keep it going after retirement.

Just to make a bit extra, so as not to scrip and save on enjoying life.

I plumped for online marketing as that seemed to be a good place for it…..or so I thought.

A few years in the wilderness chasing shiny objects until I found “Internet Profits and Dean Holland”.

What I am looking to get out of it

Well originally, I would have liked to make $100,000 a year.

But I would be quite happy making $1000 – $2000 a month

As from small acorns mighty oak trees grow.
