Post 101 – My Affiliate Marketing Blog
I said in my last post I was going to run a Solo Ad for the AMP with 500 clicks in fact I ran another with 300 at the same time to see how they went.
Well it was a disaster. I was using a new click tracker for checking everything myself. The previous one I used was, Clickmeter but they did away with their free service of up to 1000 clicks per month as I never run anything like that amount up to this time. So, I decided to use another company.
The new company I used was Linktrack and obviously using the link from them, this is what I supplied to the venders to run the ads. All I can say is stay away from them.
After the ads were running a few days the link stopped working and only problem was I was doing some travelling at the time so it took a couple of days before I noticed something was not right. In that time, I lost a lot of signups for sure as all they were getting was a broken link and not showing any offer.
So, once I realised I quickly set up another link using Pretty Links which is already set up in my WordPress blog site to supply to the venders who were very good about changing it on their side.
All I got from the 500 clicks was 45 and the 300 was 16 very poor returns for sure. But I know the answer.
Just another big learning curve and all I can say again is never touch the company Linktrack even with a shitty stick.
On the positive side I am still continuing to set up ads in my Pinterest account, of which I now have 32 running and looking very promising, even though it’s quite a bit of work.
Then again you don’t get anything if you don’t work for it.

Post 100 – My Affiliate Marketing Blog
I have been missing from my blog posts for quite some time now so decided it was time I finally wrote this milestone post 100
I have been pretty busy on all fronts so getting around to my blog has always been pushed to the back of the list.
I have had a couple of breaks from the daily grind on work but to call them breaks, well not a break really it was more like working holiday’s to get some things done around my house.
Which wasn’t entirely successful the first time round due to suppliers being a week late on their delivery of materials so was unable to finish my projects at that time and had to complete them the second break I had. But that’s another story
Well as I said earlier, I finally got here anyway … who would have believed I would hit the ton (100) on blog posts a huge milestone.
The last post I wrote I was just getting the outcomes of a solo ad I placed which went quite well with some sales and after sales still coming in due to my follow up list to the people that subscribed to my list. I got 160 on my list from 550 clicks so not bad at all.
I have since then ran another solo ad with a different vendor for The Perfect Offer and had some good success 60 sign up from 200 clicks and was over delivered with 220. Had some sales and after sales. With sign up’s going through my follow up email list.
In fact, I am just away to run another ad with this same vendor so hoping for some similar or even better success. This time it’s a different offer AMP and 500 clicks paid for.
So, I have manged to keep things going in my business although not as much as I would have liked.
I have also over this past few weeks investigated and started running some free ads on Pinterest. That has also taken a bit of time as it’s another learning curve but I am getting there.
I plan to keep up with my blog here a bit better than of late so look out for some more info in the coming weeks.

Post 99 – My Affiliate Marketing Blog
Another week gone by and a quite successful one.
Had my weekly VIP call with Dean and as of that time I was still awaiting my placed solo ad starting up. So just went through a few other things and mentoring that he gives that helps to keep me on track. As far as other forms of advertising and going through the online trainings that are available in the members area to help improve my knowledge.
Later on Monday the solo ad started kicking in with getting people opting into my mails list. I also got some sales of The Perfect Offer and a further upsale.
So well pleased with the performance and the optins are still coming through.
One thing I didn’t have prepared for was, my follow-up mail series for the people who took up the offer of the product. So had to hastily get something set up. I have email followup set for those who just opted in but didn’t take up the offer.
No sence in sending them further mails about the product they had just ordered.

So far my placed solo ad campaign with the new vendor has not started yet. I got in touch with them the other day and they told me they are a bit different from others in the same line. So it just takes a bit of time as they like to warm their audiences up first before starting the run of the ad.
No problem with that at all if it creates some better results. They also told me they should be starting within the next day or so.
Had my weekly Monday VIP call with Dean and told him of my progress through the previous week. He was happy to hear I was doing some other things within my business to push forward and not just sit still waiting for something to happen.
I have been trying some new free tactics to me on FB to get some traffic as shown by Dean and getting some interested people on what I am offering them to help their own business push on or even get started.
Still posting ads on the mailer/safe list sites with again some take ups on the offer The Perfect Offer so more people to my mailing list which is all good.
Also doing some broadcast mail sends to my list to promote Deans weekly free training webinar.
So all in all a good productive week in my business,
Allan

Had my weekly VIP call with Dean who is back from his honeymoon travels. Just catching up with him and letting him know what I had been doing over the past couple of weeks and what my plan was going forward.
I decided after looking at the training video and doing some more research to go ahead with the solo ad vendor that Dean recommended and bought 500 clicks and they are giving me a 10% bonus.
They are very professional and obviously a bit more costly but look like a good bet to get my business moving further ahead.
So a busy week getting my capture pages set up, my email sequence and links set up and testing everything through to ensure all is working well.
Also set up link tracking in ClickMeter, for which I have had a Free account with for some years now, just to check the validity of vendors system. But trust them anyway, they are not fly by nights that I have dealt with before.
Setup some more ads in the safe list mailers. I am a member of quite a few also from a few years back, but only using 5 at the present time to see how they go over a period. Didn’t get any opt-ins this past week.
As per normal I set myself up as a subscriber to the list of what I am promoting, The Perfect Offer.
Firstly to check over the emails as they come through daily and see if anything needs to be changed or added.
Secondly to ensure they are coming through as set up and there is no hiccups or misses in the sequence.
So far everything is coming through fine but just making a few tweaks to the mails to make them read better.
Everything is set up now for my solo ad campaign so just waiting on it kicking off.
